Unfortunately, I have absolutely no knowledge of computers and I need help with a new purchase.
I have to take part in Webex meetings, which my current laptop can't manage despite 8GB of RAM and fairly clean memory (no unnecessary programs that clutter the laptop) … It always hangs up when 100 other students have sound and video running a total crash preprogrammed.
Perhaps someone would have tips on which inexpensive laptop is suitable for this and is not fully utilized - I can't afford Mac and Co for this at the moment.
I really don't want to say anything, but even my old Windows 7 laptop with 4GB RAM can handle video conferences. Have you ever looked up what it is, i.e. GPU, CPU, RAM or maybe hard drive, temperature or Inet?
That's a stupid question, but how do I find out if it's the GPU / CPU / RAM? (I would exclude the rest)
Open the task manager and see what percentage of the individual things are being used to capacity
Themperature wrote about it because laptops tend to run very hot, especially the graphics card and the processor
Probably the CPU is busy and that's why it hangs.
Get a Lenovo T530, for example, which has enough power for it and is also available cheaply at, for example, Luxnote
