I got my Hyperx Cloud Alpha today and plugged it in straight away. At first I thought that the microphone was not working because nobody could hear me on discord… The truth was that I had to scream that a little sound was played from me. I then set the gain to 30 db in the Realtek audio manager and then the volume was good. The only problem is that the microphone quality is about the same as that of a laptop, it sounds very bad. What could be the problem, maybe I have a bad sound card?

You may have to set the Input sensetivity to Automatic in the Settings and Voice and Video in Discord. Your headset is probably oversteering and has incorrect settings. If the quality is not enough for you, you can download Voice Meeterbanan. This allows you to adjust even more and that is how your mic sounds. Like a professional.
