My microphone often doesn't work. So there's a noise and you don't understand me. But again sometimes it does.
It doesn't help if I change the settings and / or use a headset.
I'm a student, which is why I have video conferencing a lot and it's very annoying.
I have a ThinkPad laptop and it's not the newest anymore. I'll buy a new one soon, but I'd like to attend class without any problems.
I would like to say again that my microphone always works halfway on Discord and the problems are mostly on IServ. We also used Cisco Webex, there it is always fluctuating.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be happy to hear from you.
I would like to clean the connections, because dirt often accumulates there. Maybe see if the right microphone is really selected in the settings

I know from music recording programs and DAWs that you can select the drivers. Look what drivers you have there to choose from, if you can choose.
Asio4all often helps too.
