Is RAM worth upgrading?

I would like to know if it would be worthwhile for my laptop to upgrade 8 GB of RAM.

Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-51-536M)

Processor: Intel Core i5-7300hq
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4096 MB
RAM: 8 GB DDR4 2133 / max. Expansion to 32 GB / installed 1 of 2
Hard disk: 1000 GB HDD; 500 GB SSD (upgraded by yourself)

I would upgrade 8 GB DDR4 Ram

Ch

I would do that with the system.

De

Depends on what you want to do, 8 GB are too little for gaming, I think at least 16 for gaming

se

Would be worth it if you want to play games with high graphics. Some games sometimes recommend 12GB RAM.

Na

Yes, I play most on the laptop.

De

Then yes

Na

I understand, thank you very much!

Na

Okay thanks!

Na

I understand, thank you!

Bi

What do you want to do with it?

In general, more memory never hurts. And many games can benefit directly or indirectly from it.

Oa

More RAM already has advantages, especially since 8 GB are a bit lean these days. But that doesn't make an older CPU better.

Na

I mainly use the computer to play. My more precise question would be whether the profit would be worth it for the approx. 50 euro.

Na

My question was whether the profit would be worth the 50 euro.

Oa

That depends on what you use the laptop for. If you use a lot of memory-intensive programs, it pays off.

Na

Yes, mainly for games

Bi

Only you can say whether a possible improvement (in terms of a bit of FPS and possibly a faster operating system) is worth the 50 euro.

At 50 euro I would do it personally. But I don't have to save somehow for 50 euro or anything.
