Why does my old Dell XPS have a battery with 6100mah at 47Wh and my new Gigabyte aero 15X has only 6200Mah at 94wh

Would not the battery of my Aero 15X then have 12'400 Mah have?

Because 47wh 6100

Then there are 47x2 = 12000 Mah

But why does my Gigabyte notebook have only 6200Mah in the battery?

ca

With what voltage are the batteries charged?

De

1.3 A… But I'm surprised that a 94wh battery has exactly the same amount of MaH as a 47Wh battery? Why is that? Certainly not the voltage with which it is loaded

ca

That's the electricity. I asked for the tension. That would be volts. It makes a difference whether it is charged with 5V or with 12V or 20V.

De

With 15,2V my new notebook is loaded

De

And the old XPS 12 charges with 7.4V

ca

Well, there you have your difference. It also depends on the tension.

De

So does the voltage also have to do with the battery density? Because my power bank has 10'800mah at 60wh… And is also charged with 12V… Say the Mah density plays a role here, too… Or?
