Is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 worthwhile for studying?

I recently started distance learning but would probably like to switch to face-to-face studies next year. I already have a good laptop and am now considering getting a tablet anyway, because I would like to create learning sheets that I always have with me and don't take up much space. In addition, the longer battery life is a big plus for me, because I have to charge my laptop every 4 hours and that is rather impractical for university.

Now the question arises for me whether an Android tablet or the S7 is worthwhile at all, since there are more good programs and apps for IOS and I already have a good laptop. An Ipad is almost out of the question for me, however, as I have neither a cell phone nor a laptop with IOS.

Loading times on the laptop are not a problem. Experience has shown that you can find a socket somewhere in most lecture rooms if not all of them want to be connected to the mains.

If you really want it for learning notes, besides weight and battery duration, the most interesting thing is how you keep the data organized and know that with the synchronization on the laptop. You will want to bring the data together with homework etc. If necessary. If you have notes on your tablet and everything else on your laptop, that's a hindrance. Then you always have to have both. Synchronization is better there. Be it through an app / software that both devices use or through a common cloude solution.

Do you want to do the notes at home or write them down on the tablet?

If you want to take notes, i.e. Take notes, then the question would also be what can be combined well with a keyboard.
