I have a laptop with an Intel Cote i5 8th generation and a graphics card Intel Graphics UHD 620. Initially I had the problem that Davinci Resolve 16 was partially crashed when I imported it. So I installed Davinci Resolve 15 and it worked for a short time, but it always crashes when analyzing the videos and now it just happens. Please help me how I can fix that. I have a customer and need the program.
Maybe your graphics card is too weak to render etc.
Well, there's no powerful graphics card, which CPU is that exactly? RAM should be at least 16 GB, preferably 32 GB.
Then of course it depends on which videos you are editing: SD, HD, Full-HD, 4k?
Start your tests with SD videos and work your way up until it crashes.
If I change the project settings from my Full HD video to SD and just change them when rendering, could that work?
