What's better a PC or a laptop?

I would have the question if a laptop as well as a PC währe the exact same graphics card, the same processor, etc has. Such as. A PC with a Geforce GTX and an Intel Core i7 processor.

Since cooling can't be the same, the PC is still powerful despite everything since the parts have to be clocked down quickly on the laptop.

The PC will always have the edge on the front for better cooling.

Likewise, he has the great advantage that you can upgrade him and he will be cheaper.

In a notebook, however, are usually installed mobile components, an i7 in the notebook is therefore usually not the same i7 as in a PC. It is always important to pay attention to the exact names.

Totally right. I have not seen a laptop that has a desktop CPU installed.

When it comes to performance, PC is definitely better, because PCS has better performance and is much better cooled than a laptop. In the case of laptop you usually have a problem with overheating cooling, especially in the middle of gambling laptops are usually very warm. But if it does not matter performance but the main thing for a little Office or something programming on the go, then of course you take laptop.

Now I have the question: In how far is the difference? For example, if I tried a game like Minecrafte with a Geforce GTX 1060 and an Intel i7 7th Gen installed in both computers, how strong would the FPS difference be, and would the PC be even better than the laptop if the PC had an i7 2th gene would have or would he then a lot worse?

My advice: Never buy a laptop to gamble, this really brings only trouble, I can tell you from personal experience.

To your question: I can't say exactly how big the difference is, because Minecraft packs absolutely every calculator, because the difference will not be great.

Otherwise: the generation is not enough, you have to know the exact name. There are quite a few models in the 2nd and 7th generation, between a i7 7500U and an i7 7700HQ (both laptop) are big differences! Here's an example: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/...71274vs621

Since the PC would still be faster.

You ask now… I can't give you exact numbers.

guess with the same system, the PC is certainly 20% mind. Better because the clocking is depending on the laptop already very strong down. But that's not the case with every laptop. There are also different materials etc.

regarding the other Intel, there are enough benchmark comparison sites and tools on the internet.
