An administrator has disabled the storage service in this system? I can no longer access my storage settings?

For a few days now, I have not been able to view or control my storage space when I look under Settings in the storage. When I press any storage settings, I always get "an administrator has disabled the storage service in this system".

Windows 10 runs on my laptop and my memory was very full, which is why I wanted to muck it out. I'm also the administrator on the laptop.

Any help is welcome, I didn't find anything at Chip & Co.

Look under the Windows services whether the storage service is running. If you enter "services" in the search bar, the services app should open. In the services there's one called "storage service". You can start it with a right click.

I'm having the same issue as well, I don't have a START option

For the two previous answers, what I did was right click and then select Properties, and then I selected automatic on startup type.

For the two previous comments, what I did was right click on Properties, then I went to startup type and selected automatic. There the storage should appear.
