I would like to sell my laptop. It is 2 months old so it still has manufacturer Granite. Now my question is how much can I still charge for the laptop. It cost 700 euro again and it is an ideapad L340
When selling, always look at the current market. So go, for example, on Ebay classifieds and see what others are selling the PC for.
I looked a little bit and would say for 600 euro you're not doing anything wrong.
I would look at what price your model is currently being sold new. Then you can probably deduct 10-20% simply because it is used but is still young.
For older models that are no longer sold new, I would then judge me on other used ones.
The L340 series from Lenovo is unfortunately (as with almost all notebooks) with a wide variety of features. That is why the full model name is always extremely important for possible assessments.
Lenovo L340- ?! What?
Since notebooks in the best case lose "only" 50% of their former purchase price (actual mean value at the time of purchase in the case of a new purchase) within their warranty period up to its expiry, you should calculate:
(700 Euro ÷ 2) + ((700 Euro ÷ 2 ÷ [months total guarantee]) × [total guarantee - own use in months] ÷ 1.1)
as VHB. Of course, this only applies in the event that you:
- You are the first owner
- All original packaging, documentation and guarantee certificates are available
- All accessories are available
- The guarantee for private to private sale is fully transferable to the buyer (see the manufacturer's terms and conditions for the guarantee conditions)
- You haven't messed up anything on the preinstalled operating system, or the whole thing has been reset to the factory state and the original factory recovery is also included, which can be used again at any time.
- The battery is still fully covered by the guarantee. (Shortened warranty periods often apply here)
No idea, I offer 250 euro if it is in good condition and configured halfway normally.
Lenovo L340-15IRH 81LK00W1GE gaming notebook (39.62 cm / 15.6 inches, Intel, GTX 1650, 512 GB SSD,
That's the whole model name and the laptop is 2 months old since today thanks for your help
As a VHB, you can therefore go into my calculations when packaging, documentation & Co. All apply to my lists (clarified / completely available).
Otherwise in the realistic expectation per missing point about 5 to 10% less of the purchase price, if necessary realistically in the VHB agreement, additionally plan for private to private resale.
VHB is just a basis for negotiation at current market resale prices, stating the full model data and equipment features. Nobody wants to have to guess.
You should be able to get 600 euro from private to private, given the full points in my "list".
