I wanted to give my son a notebook for Christmas because he needs one for school anyway.
First would also play on it (currently on the Xbox)
Fortnite / GTA5 the most
The Norebook I saw would have an I5 9300H, GTX 1650 4Gb, 8Gb Ram, 500Gb SSD and 17 inch (price 570 euro NEW)
would that be enough or is he too weak
Notebook compulsory for school or can it also be a normal PC?
500 gig is very little if there are also games installed.
At the moment he may only be interested in GTA and Fortnite, but he will certainly change. And 500 gig fill up extremely quickly. GTA alone already takes up 90 gig.
On top of that, I don't know if your GTA is a "Play-Anywhere" then you would have to buy it again.
It would probably make more sense to give up gaming for now and buy a notebook for school.
Next year, or on that birthday, you might be thinking about a gaming PC.
Everyone I knew who had a "gaming notebook" has now switched to a PC. And they invested three times as much or more for the notebook.
No duty
In that case, your son probably doesn't need a notebook, he just wants a gaming PC. People like to take school as an excuse.
Do not need but it should be one and not a pc
Thanks for the answer, but the question was whether the notebook fits the requirements and the price fits
It's written there.
Gta can be played with it but not much more. You will probably regret the purchase, even if that would be ok in terms of price for what was inside.
