I once installed Ecosia as a search engine on my laptop. Unfortunately I'm not so happy with the search engine and would like to switch back to Google (set up Google as the standard search engine).
Unfortunately, this turns out to be difficult. Does anyone know how this works?
Which browser do you have?

There's a manual for the common browser
Safari
To be able to help you, you should also tell us the browser you are using.
Search for such an option in your browser's settings.
But a very good alternative to Google would be the anonymous search engine Startpage:
https://www.startpage.com/
Google is also used (among other things).
I myself use the Vivaldi browser.
This makes it easy to set up and search for multiple search engines.
So I adapted a normal URL so that I e.g. Start an Amazon search directly ("a […]"), or also for hardware bulkheads ("h […]").
Wikipedia (and others) are already pre-installed ("w […]").
Just search for browser name + change search engine
With Geek Uninstaller you should be able to:

I use the Safari browser.
You should first learn to use a search engine:
https://www.startpage.com/rvd/search?query=safari%20suchmaschine%20einrichten&language=auto
Do you use a Windows PC or an Apple computer?
Vivaldi is also available for the MacOS 10.
https://vivaldi.com/de/
Test it in parallel to Safari.
Apple
Then this is probably in the browser settings under search engine.
