Why doesn't it show that the charging cable is in (iPhone)?

I wanted to turn on my iPhone today, but couldn't because the battery was low. So I connected my charging cable and it took a long time for the phone to have enough battery to start up. When it started up, there was a short tone that always comes when you connect the charging cable, but 1 second later the flash that is usually there was simply gone. So I had my charging cable on and the battery did not go down, but the cell phone was not charged either.

When I connected my cable to my laptop because I thought something was wrong with the socket, the laptop recognized the charging cable (so it could not be the cable), but it said "USB device was not recognized as it is not working properly, the flash on the cell phone was also not visible on the laptop.

I tried to pull the cable out and plug it back in, I also switched the cell phone on and off, but after each start it said that the battery was weak and the cable recognized the cell phone for 1 second after starting, then the lightning disappears again.

Everything was fine yesterday; the flash appeared normal and the cell phone also charged. Why is it that it suddenly stops working today and how can I fix it?

Broken cable or connector on iPhone. Test another cable and charger.

See if you have vlt lint from your cell phone. Happens happily and then the cable has no real contact. You could just pull it out with a sewing needle and you're done.

But it loads briefly for a few seconds at the beginning and then it just breaks off. Unfortunately I don't have another cable right now, so I would have to buy a new one.

op

Cable defective or the connector socket of your Iphone. Something like that tends to wear out. These are not generously dimensioned cables and contacts like a 220 volt socket.

ho

It almost sounds like it is the iPhone. But you can only say that with certainty if you test another cable and charger.

Jo

If it's on the cell phone… Can you fix it?

ho

You can fix Jo. I recently changed the connector on my 6S (Dock Connector it is called) because I had the same problem. Available on Amazon for 20 euro including tools.

Okay, but now I found another cable, my old one that had a light contact. Then the cell phone recognized the cable, so it's probably because of the cable

ho

Great, then you will get away cheaply.
