I'm looking for a laptop with which I can create PowerPoint presentations and use other office programs for school. In addition, I would find a FHD display nice to private series to look. Here are the specifications of the device again:
Display: 35.6 cm (14.0 inch) TFT, glare-free, LED backlight, IPS technology Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels
Memory: 4 GB DDR4 RAM 2400 MHz
Memory: 64 GB eMMC
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 605
Operating system: Windows® 10 Home
Processor: Intel® Pentium® Silver (N5000) Gemini Lake (4 x 1.1 GHz up to 2.70 GHz, 4 MB Intel® Cache)
Price 219 euro
The Akoya E3222 also looks good.
Am I missing something? Do you have experience with this device?
Ram well. But SSD (HDD) memory does not work. If you have installed Office and a reasonable browser, you will have a problem with the next Windows Update (1909) … Buy either something sensible. Or what used clever and retrofit SSD and RAM.
Not for the price
It would be better to have a SSD of at least 100 gigabytes for good fast work and a 500 GB HDD more RAM would also be good. Processor graphics cards etc. Are rather secondary for office programs and video streams
Well, RAM is enough for the application. I see mass storage in exactly the same way.
Well, it's quite a cucumber.
Intel Celeron and Pentium silver are a real evil.
You should take at least 250 euro in your hand and invest in at least one Intel Pentium Gold (this is a slimmed-down Intel i3) and is many times better than the ATOM, Celeron or Pentium, Pentium Silver turbid tablets.
I really wouldn't do that to myself… After 1 week you want to throw the thing out the window.
Can you recommend a laptop for about 250 euro?
What if I built a small M2 SSD? The device has a slot for it
Would be a good approach. Fast and large memory is the be-all and end-all
300 euro
Ryzen 3200U

249 euro
Intel Pentium Gold, also not the yellow of the egg but much better than the Pentium Silver
239 euro…
Pentium Gold, however smaller 14 "TFT
Personally, I also have a 14 "and find it more comfortable than a 15.6"
Does this also have an IPS panel like the Akoya device?
Yes.
Quote:
LED backlight and IPS technology ensure strong colors and high contrasts
Sorry I'm annoying again, but I find nowhere info, that the Lenovo notebook also uses IPS technology
