For school, general simple things
Only for school is a cheap notebook. Already too good. Almost all laptops can do 3D. Are multimedia capable. You can easily watch 2K.
I'm now talking about current ones that are new to the business. Not a 10 year old laptop from Uncle Hansi.
approx. 250 to 400 euro. I can recommend the price range. Preferably 17 inches. For Europeans, 15 inches are a bit small. The hands cramp quickly.
Don't be fooled by beautiful advertising images. 17 inch! And about 500 GB SSD. With an optical drive would be advantageous. Or a USB external drive. Then you can also watch DVD blue-ray offline.
The upper one has twice the size of the hard drive and is also much larger than the lower one. If you want to take a laptop to school with you, I would recommend the one below. You don't need that much space for surfing and a few documents (homework). LG
Hello UFO (I hope you don't mind if I call you that),
since I know computers well, I would like to help you.
In terms of price, the two differ only slightly, but I would definitely recommend the Lenovo.
WHY?
The first and most important reason would be the storage medium. A fast SSD is used in the upper Lenovo notebook, while a so-called flash memory (eMMc) is used in the lower no-name notebook. As is easy to see in the product description, the SSD has more memory on the one hand, and an SSD has noticeably faster write and read speeds than a flash memory on the other. Since I've had worse experiences with eMMC anyway, this point definitely goes to the laptop above.
The second would be the processor, I'll keep this short: an Intel Pentium 6405U is simply faster and more powerful than the Celeron in the lower notebook.
Plus, the Lenovo has a bigger display and is just one brand. The latter should not necessarily have the advantage of using your PC as a status symbol (stupid), but rather has the advantage that you get more driver updates and better support for problems from a brand manufacturer like Lenovo and that branded devices are qualitatively better.
Conclusion: Better spend a little more money (that's less than 20 euro difference) because with the Lenovo you will have more and, above all, longer fun.
I hope I could help you with your decision with this little digression
Stay healthy!
Your Cedric.
Thank you!
