Have you checked whether your Wi-Fi is still working? If not, it was apparently there ^^
Since the antennas are usually there too. Usually the card is on the mainboard.
I don't think it was "connected" to the monitor. You probably mean a cable that the monitor was pulled up (antenna). That is for the reception.

That was probably not connected to the display, but the WLAN antenna was housed in the display frame and the card was connected to the coaxial cable via the IPX connector.
