My grandson has a high quality Acer Nitro.

Since this laptop is also offered as a gamer here are the questions.

The output on the graphics card is only one HDMI 2.0 available.

He wanted a monitor TN 144 Hz 1ms free sync.

But I mean, the graphics card has g sync and the 144 Hz are not possible.

Does a g sync monitor need to be purchased, or what are the limitations of Free Sync monitors?

Who can help me with simple explanations.

di

GSync goes to my knowledge only on DisplayPort. Will be nothing anyway. Do not even think that you can get GSync adapter. He can't use FreeSync because nVidia. Disadvantage is so simple that he can't use the techniques. So it does not matter, whether a monitor without everything or with FreeSync. The GSync surcharge I would not pay anyway.

Ma

The GTX 1050ti will not achieve 144fps anyway.
Especially not as a mobile variant.

Thanks, you helped me a lot.

At Media Markt, the "specialist salesmen" did not know the answer.

Super.
