I own an ACER Nitro 5 (AN517-52-56A7)
and would like to upgrade it from 8gb to 26gb ram. I surfed the internet a bit and saw that you can't upgrade RAM on every laptop and that there's a memory configuration… Now my question is whether I can upgrade the laptop and what a memory configuration is.
Here is the link to my laptop again https://www.mediamarkt.de/...52521.html
So 26GB is way too much and you just have to see if DDR-3 or DDR-4 is installed otherwise everything should work fine.
Think she means 24GB. Depending on the application, 24GB (or 32GB) RAM can be used up.
In this case, you should be able to upgrade the RAM:
However, I would not recommend an 8 + 16GB configuration, such configurations often cause errors or result in poorer performance.
You need DDR4 SO-DIMM for the laptop, 2933 MHz is sufficient.
If you could wait, the RAM would be better:

RAM (like many semiconductor-based products) is currently more expensive.
If you absolutely need RAM, then you should take a more sensible 2 * 8GB configuration, that would be an inexpensive kit:
I would also advise you to either add another bar with the same capacity to the existing bar (I'm now assuming only one installed). Or (depending on the available budget) to take a kit of 2 of the same and then either bunker or sell it somewhere for a few euro.
Thanks for the answer, but I said I installed 8GB RAM once and would like to use 8GB again so that I have 16GB RAM in total. I play Fortnite and I have now seen through tests that if you have more Ram, you have a higher FPS performance
Do you still have cheap links for an extra 8gb ram?
