I have had an Acer Aspire 3 for some months now and suddenly no sound since today because apparently no audio output device is installed. In Device Manager, Intel (R) Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller has a yellow exclamation point. Have it updated, but no success. Uninstalling the audio controller and restarting the laptop did not help. Audio, video and game controllers were hidden, but I was able to show them anyway. I also updated everything there, later uninstalled and then restarted the laptop, no success. Realtek High Definition Audio Driver I have already uninstalled and reinstalled, again no success.
Can someone help me? Unfortunately I do not have much experience with computers.
Unfortunately, everything did not work. But thanks anyway!
Go into the device manager on the properties of the audio controller (Think, have only one in the list, in any case, the one with the exclamation point) … If you have more audio devices in the list should list vlt times…
In the properties, please under "Details" the HardwareID display and copy here purely. This will find the right driver. If necessary, you have to select and install it manually if Win does not want to recognize the correct driver…
