I have an old HP Pavilion ze2000 laptop.
Everything works fine.
But then I have a new operating system installed (Windows XP was on it and I have Windows 7 installed)
Went well at the beginning but I noticed that Windows tells me that no audio device is installed.
Have then again installed Windows XP, but even there it says No audio device installed.
I then looked on the internet why that is.
I even found a lot.
It says because you should install an audio driver, I've tried it but it still means no audio device installed.
Of course I've already tried to update the drivers for the speakers.
Maybe one of you knows something.

First check the BIOS, if the audio device was not inadvertently deactivated there.
I've already done X-tray but is always activated
Is there a Fn key combination to turn the speakers on and off?
Drivers for audio I find only for Windows XP, that device is after all from 2005.
