So the following: For about a week working at my house, the w-lan (UPC) on my laptop not. I can connect, for a few minutes on the Internet and then there's "Connected, No Internet access". When diagnosed, I'm told that the default gateway (?) Is not available. I do not believe in my laptop, because I can connect at school and elsewhere without any problems. With my phone, these problems do not exist. Although I have read on the Internet that such problems occur when upgrading to Windows 10, but I bought my laptop with Windows 10 and there were never any problems. So what can I do?
What happens if you place the laptop near the router?
UPC sounds quite like the connectbox of unitymedia… - my condolences the part is the last snot
you prefer to get ne fritzbox 6490 cable… You have to register with unitymedia with serial number and mac address (leave)
First, the good news: Your wireless network works great, otherwise you could not connect or would have disconnections.
You can check that off already.
If the default gateway is not available, it's because of a bent router config, a bent network configuration on your laptop, or because your Internet access is down.
If other devices in your LAN can access the Internet, I consider the 2nd option the most likely.
So check out the IP4 and IP6 settings of the network adapter and put everything on automatic.
Then restart the computer.
Unfortunately, exactly the same
Then reset your network settings. In the Windows settings under "Network and Internet / Network reset".
