I'm in the 10th grade of a grammar school in Thuringia.
I wanted to ask how you have to be technically equipped to take a computer science course in upper school. Do I absolutely need a laptop or is my ipad (2018 model) with keyboard enough?
As GK or LK? And do you know anything about the content of the lesson? So the topics?
So after what we're doing in North Rhine-Westphalia, I would think that you definitely need a device with Windows, Linux or MacOS or whatever Apple calls it. The programs we use are not available for mobile
Well, if you have to program at home, you definitely won't get very far with a tablet.
In theory, you could also program with the iPad. But I would recommend using a laptop for this. Is much easier and more user-friendly
If you have a computer science room, you don't need anything, except for a PC at home for homework (a cell phone is also possible if necessary).
I would choose it as GK
Subjects:
Communication in networks
Processing of problems with PASCAL or OBERON
Iteration and recursion
formal language
Use of abstract data types
I guess a laptop would be helpful if you get programming for home
