How much is 10.1 inches to cm?

I've already googled and haven't found the right one yet. If a tablet / laptop is 10.1 inches, what are the dimensions. So preferably in cm × cm (width, length)

You should practice again how google works

How much is 10.1 inches to cm

If a tablet / laptop is 10.1 inches, what are the dimensions. So preferably in cm × cm (width, length)

Nobody can tell you that. The actual dimensions depend on how much frame the device has, the aspect ratio, etc. The inch figures only refer to the diagonal of the display.

ay

Inch only describes the diagonal. I think there's a geometric formula to calculate the width and length with the help of a diagonal, but I think it only works in a square.

there's something directly from google -.- you can choose whether I think you are a liar or something incapable.

Sc

Yes, and how wide is that then? That's the problem. The 25 cm say nothing to me. I just want cm × cm dimensions

He

Have edited that in the answer with purely.

Sc

Yes, but I want a cm × cm 😉 reading…

Ja

Then left the technical description of the device. Inch Describes the screen diagonal from which you can't calculate cm x cm.

Sc

That's more of an answer 😉

Yes, I was a little hasty, after "I already googled" I was in the "you're lying" mode and wanted to prove the opposite. I only read the rest of the question afterwards and then I immediately revised the answer again.

An ancient Greek named Pythagoras found a highly complex mathematical way of doing this.

The generally stupid thing about this information is that the dimensions depend on the form factor. With a square display it could be approx. 18 × 18 cm2, with a treadmill 1 cm high it would be approx. 25 cm wide.

The iPads were initially in 4: 3 format, for cost reasons there are mostly 16: 9, as with TVs, cell phones are now 2: 1 or even longer 21: 9 while I now try at least 16:10 (1920: 1200) to get.

You can calculate this with Pythagoras if you want to know exactly.

With 1920: 1200 and 10.1 "I have about 13.5 cm x 21.5 cm for the display and 15 cm x 25 cm for the housing.

You would have to know the Pythagoras of course…

You should proceed differently:
Enter the screen size, then choose the laptop and just look at the dimensions!

Example (for dummies to imitate):

I go to Real.de and there I enter laptop, result:

https://www.real.de/laptops/

There you can enter various specifications, I'll just take this one:

https://www.real.de/product/372612118/?id_unit=383937800068

Then I'll scroll down to the product description… Except for the link "more"

And lo and behold, it says:

Dimensions and weight
Product dimension (L x W x H): 302.2 * 217 * 16mm
Package size (L x W x H): 40 * 25 * 9 cm
Net weight: 1190 g
Packing weight: 2000g
