IPad pro 11 inches or 12.9 inches?

I'll get an Ipad pro (2020) for my birthday in about 2 weeks and my parents wanted to know whether it was 11 inches or 12.9 inches. I will use it very often in connection with the Apple pencil at school and I will also be happy to be on the go. But I don't have my own laptop or deskrop pc and would like to replace one of these devices with it. Many Youtubers say that they recommend the 12.9 inch model for this case, but due to the current situation I can't see both sizes directly in comparison and drawing on a sheet of paper is also stupid.

I recommend this at 12.9 inches

I used it myself and find the larger screen more pleasant

Sa

And the weight doesn't bother you if you plan to hold it in your hand for longer?

I have 11 "privately and 12.9" on business. Personally, I find the 11 "more comfortable because it is much lighter and you can comfortably surf with one hand on the couch.

I would definitely use the 12.9 "as a desktop replacement. It is versatile and the split screen is only fun in 12.9".

Among other things, I used the Apple keyboard. You can put it there comfortably. There are also optional stands for it

First of all thanks. The only question I ask myself is whether it is worth the 220 euro surcharge, as the accessories, etc. Are more expensive. I also plan to read ebooks etc. On it and the 11 inch has the advantage that it is lighter. Do you still recommend it despite the surcharge?

Ki

I wouldn't want to read e-books on the 12.9 ". So I would recommend the 11". The difference in weight of around 200 g is easy to feel.

OK thanks. Sorry for asking so many questions, but is there enough space on the ioad per 11 inch to work on Word files etc. Or goodnotes? Or does the ball of the hand hang down or something like that. I ask them because they have both devices.

Ki

The 11 "Pro is absolutely sufficient for GoodNotes. I have just tested it. You can also edit Word files on it. The space is definitely sufficient. What - as I said does not work so well - is, for example, a PDF next to Good Notes open to transfer notes.

OK thanks
