The keyboard of my Mac Book Air (2013) has not worked properly for a few days… The on / off button works fine and a connected mouse also, but the rest of the keyboard does nothing. The funny thing is, when I restart the laptop, I can use all the buttons again to enter the password and after entering the same problem again… Does anyone have any idea about it and know what the problem could be and how I can solve it?
When typing, does the keyboard work forever or only for a short time?
It works all the time so i could wait for days and it would still go
Then I would say it is due to the operating software, and if the keyboard is entered when entering the password, you can't speak of a hardware defect, have you ever set up the system again or do you know how to do it?
But I would first look in the keyboard settings if there's any language selected, i.e. The German keyboard or the English z. E.g.
