I've been planning on building a gaming PC for a long time, because I've been playing on a 700 Euro laptop for over 3 years, which has a measly Geforce 940m and for that reason I can only play certain games for 3 years and they are not liquid. I have now selected as well as all the components for my future PC, which will probably be worth around the 2300 euro and I just wanted to ask you how you find the components.
Graphics card: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 AMP Extreme
Processor: i7 9700k
RAM: 16gb 3200mhz ddr4 from G.Skill
Monitor: Do not have a plan, but preferably 240hz with wqhd. For suggestions I'm open.
Power supply: be quiet 500w (Maybe even higher watts, do not know how much you need)
Case (but not so important I think): Kolink Obeservatory
And last but not least other things, such as motherboard and Cpu cooler and co are actually unimportant.
I wanted to ask if it's worth the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 AMP Extreme or the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 AMP Extreme Core. The only difference is that the RTX 2080 AMP Extreme has 1905MHz and the RTX 2080 AMP Extreme Core 1860MHz with a price difference of 50 Euro, but I just do not know if that's worth it.
And where are the 2300 euro now?
With the graphics card, you can just look at Youtube a benchmark test, there you can see the difference well. With the power supply I'm really out of my head uncertain, reckon after and take when it is scarce rather a 600 watt power supply, of course, be quiet!
There are more things, but they are not relevant. It was actually more about GraKa and so… Her knowledge.
To put a little more on long-term rather take an i9 … Will probably take a few more years until Intel arrived at 7nm.
Better than a RTX 2080 hardly goes, the few MHz do not make the cabbage fat.
PS: Asus has some 240Hz monitors, just browse, I do not know what you want.
Ok, thanks, but I think that I stay with the i7 9700k, because the i9 series is not so suitable for gaming, but if my CPU is flute, I have to get a new one.
Thanks, I will look at the monitors! There's no benchmark for the graphics card because the only difference is the Core 1860Mhz and the other 1905Mhz. Can you tell me if 1905Mhz instead of 1860Mhz for 50 euro are ok and if that's even worth it?
Nope. The Mhz tell you in the case not much about the performance. The performance is pretty much the same for every RTX 2080, the few MHz does not change that much. If you do not even have a comparison, you save the 50 euro rather. ^^
But definitely not for a long time 2300 euro.
240Hz @ WQHD there's hardly, besides, it would not make the graphics card anyway. 144Hz are absolutely sufficient.

The power adapter is a Straight Power 11 550W or Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W.
I would bet on an i9 on the budget, is a bit more future proof.
Edit: Motherboard is very important.
Motherboard is the ROG strix z390-e. I did not find it relevant to the question.
Oh well, okay. Were enough here, who bought a Z370 board and wondered why it does not work… Or one with an i9 on a 60 euro board, which has almost annealed…
I9 is not so suitable for gaming? The 9900k is currently the fastest processor for gaming lol
I9 9900k is really good for gaming, but better is a ne i7 8700k or i7 9700k. Google can help you.
No, that is not correct. The i9 is still stronger, to be exact the base clock is equal but the speed is 100Mhz faster. However, this makes no difference in games, for which the extra charge of 100 euro is too pure for gaming and is therefore recommended to buy to a 8700k or 9700k. However, it is only about the price / performance ratio and not just about the performance.
