We already talked to our landlord if fiber would not work, we agreed that we would pay more rent. But the sobering answer: Since we live in a skyscraper, a poll must be made. And that was already done with our previous tenants. Unfortunately 80% older people live in the skyscraper and therefore the survey was negative for us younger people. No fiber for us, because more than 75% think that unnecessary.
So, since I'm not a monster and that's what assozial thinks, to forbid friends of my colleague here to use our internet, I came up with the idea of a surfstick. I do not care how much I have to pay monthly, because I work I can sometimes spend 100 euro a month for something, if just the Internet then works… I can't buy a router, because we already have one and the connection thus needed. And two routers does not really change the performance.
I work as I said and quite irregular. On my days off (usually one day, off and on two days a week), I also want to be able to play for a few hours or watch videos without being thrown out all the time…
