Good laptop up to 500 euro?

I'm looking for a laptop for school. Should have Windows.

ca

For school you can take almost any current model from 400 euro. Current hardware should be installed, nothing older than 2 years.

Edit: After feedback from Amalia95:
Make sure that you are no longer turned on a model with an HDD.
An SSD should be a must. Better a 256 GB SSD than a 1TB HDD.

Ha

I would buy an Acer Aspire 3 with an Intel Core i3.

May I add to your answer that an SSD should be installed? Even a small SSD is really awesome. Especially useful if the laptop is moved more often and they are fast too.

ca

SSDs are of course always good, no question about it. Should be standard nowadays even with the price. 500 MB SSDs are now available for less than 50 euro

Ra

Then I'll confirm your answer.

It's a few euro over, but it's worth it

Would take one of https://geizhals.de/...5%7E9595_4, they'll be enough until you're done with school

If it can also be a 14-inch device, then here would be an appealing device from Lenovo: https://www.cyberport.de/?DEEP=1C31-3RQ

There's a full HD display as well as an AMD Ryzen 3 3250U, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Windows 10 is also preinstalled.

For a larger device, the following laptop would be an option: https://www.easynotebooks.de/Notebooks/Asus/P-Serie-ExpertBook/328866/ASUS-ExpertBook-P1-P1511CDA-BQ596R-15-6-FHD-Ryzen-3-3250U-8GB-RAM-256GB-SSD-Win10Pro

It is a 15.6-inch device with a full HD display. As in the other device, an AMD Ryzen 3 3250U, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD are installed.

Both devices would surely be sufficient for your project if the device is really only used for school or applications without special requirements. With the second device you are 20 euro above your price range, but I don't think that should be too much of a problem.
