Lenovo laptop stops booting while installing update?

I have had a problem for about 2-3 months.

My Lenovo Z50 laptop installs updates every 2 weeks. The problem with this is that it always hangs between 90-97% of the update.

I've already left it on for 24 hours but nothing happens, even if I turn it off and restart it.

After restarting 4-5 times, it shows me whether I want to "refresh" the PC or reset it to the factory settings. I always refresh it because my data, documents, etc. Are not lost.

However, I have to download everything that relates to programs, such as the Internet or Word, and I have a number of programs on the desktop that I don't need at all, which it automatically installs as soon as it is refreshed.

The problem is that the whole process takes 2-3 hours and the reinstallation of all programs also takes about 2 hours, which is annoying when I have to do something for the university.

What can I do? Reset the laptop?

So I'll recap

You want to say that your notebook makes an update every two weeks that takes hours or even days to install and then all programs are gone?!

You are welcome to bring THE notebook over to me, I would like to examine THAT, because THAT can't be and I haven't seen it in 27J IT

Your Windows was probably damaged the first time you turned off your computer while the update was still in progress. It usually takes a little longer for the last percentages to be installed. Unfortunately, some do not have the patience for this.

You should definitely back up all of your data and set up the laptop from scratch

It doesn't install, at 97% it always hangs. So that he sends me to a menu where I should refresh the laptop.

Then I have to reinstall everything as far as programs are concerned.

Pictures, text documents etc. Are still there, but the programs that I had installed such as Word, WinRar etc. Are gone and I have to reinstall them.

And THAT every and every time with EVERY update?

Can't be either

I would say that your notebook generally has a problem.

You have two options: Either you let an IT man look over it or you completely reinstall Win10 yourself and rigorously delete all partitions
