Hi, I have two Lenovo brand laptops available. I actually wanted to get the first option (512GB and 8RAM), but a buddy advised me to get the second option, it costs around 100 euro more, but has 1000GB and 16RAM. Is it worth the 100 euro more, what do you say?

Definitely! 16GB RAM is safe enough for gaming and 1TB is also very good - you can never have too little of it.
Most of the new ones already have 32 Ram, so I wouldn't buy anything under 16 Ram
Starting from an office notebook with an Intel iGPU, I see no need.
