I have a Disney CD that is not recognized by my CD player, but it does by the laptop CD player.
Now I only have the problem that the VLC media player crashes after the Disney intro, because Disney FastPlay is installed on the CD, do you know a program with which I can play the CD?
I can hardly believe that the VLC with Fastplay should not be able to cope. Are you using the latest version?
If it's really the VLC, the popular alternative is the Media Player Classic Home Cinema. However, it uses codecs installed in Windows, which is why they should be useful. In addition, I would therefore install the K-Lite Codec Pack (find everything easily and free of charge via Google).
Or could it be the player?
So actually I would rather guess that it is the DVD (you wrote CD, but it probably won't be) if it doesn't work on two devices.
The alternative would be an extremely incompatible copy protection on the DVD (some willful violation of the DVD standard that is so serious that some devices can't cope with it). But I would be surprised if Disney disgraced himself there. Especially since Fastplay is nothing special now, I also have various Fastplay discs.
Or your player is a CD player and you wonder why it can't play a DVD, although CDs can only contain music…
So for me all DVDs work with the exception of fastplay, but they actually work on my TV's player, but the DVD is not recognized there.
I have the same problem with the DVD fastplay, I didn't ask for fastplay so whats the deal, I just want the plain DVD so I can watch it, is disney playing games, I had to return it n they are sending another if that don't work I want my money back.
