I have a pc and a laptop. An NVIDIA graphics card on both devices. An RTX 2080 Ti on a PC and an RTX 2060 on a laptop.
On the PC, I can record my screen with GeForce Experience as normal. No matter what I do. Be it my browser, Word or anything else.
This is not possible with a laptop. It always says "A supported game is required for this function". Can someone help me there? Why does it not work on the PC and the laptop? I can only record games on the laptop. With the PC I can record games and other things.
That might not be logical for you, but I would think that there are technical reasons.
I assume that has to do with the fact that with the laptop, the image signal does not go directly to the screen, but has to go through the cpu. That's why you can also choose whether you want to use the integrated graphics or the nvidia graphics with laptops, because it works differently.
It will probably not work then to include everything.
OK thanks.
The explanation, however, again seems logical to me.
