I have a Surface Pro 6 generation, which in and of itself also works perfectly. But in the last few months I have had problems with the W-LAN, I'm always connected but it just doesn't work (no internet site loads, etc.). In the meantime, the W-LAN works perfectly with all other devices, which is why I assume that the problem has more to do with my PC than with the Internet / router.
What I always do with the problem is disconnect and reconnect directly, then the Internet usually works again for a few seconds (just to load a page) and then is gone again (although I'm still connected). Then I do the same thing again, disconnect and reconnect until it works normally again. However, this problem occurs completely indiscriminately. Sometimes everything goes well for a week in a row. Sometimes the problem occurs several times a day. And the same with the disconnect. Sometimes I only have to reconnect 2-3 times. Sometimes I don't do anything else for 30 minutes, then let it be, and after an hour it still doesn't work.
For example, yesterday evening I was in voice chat in discord and in the few hours it happened that I suddenly didn't hear anyone, then I reconnected, then heard the people for a few seconds and then didn't. Here again, sometimes I reconnected 2-3 times and everything was good for the time being, sometimes I had to reconnect more often and then flew out of discord partly because of connection problems.
I don't know if it could have something to do with it, but in the last few months I have had increasing problems connecting my Bluetooth headphones (AirPods) to the device. In the past it always worked perfectly, but recently I can barely connect, it rarely works.
The only thing that comes to mind is what I've changed in the last few months is to buy an adapter that is permanently connected to the device. More precisely an adapter from I-Tec (linked below) mainly for an HDMI connection so that I can connect a second monitor, and a USB slot for my mouse. Here the message came 2-3 times (if I still connected my cell phone to it) that there was an overvoltage on the USB connection.
The device has never shut down since it is always attached to the power supply.
(I also considered buying a LAN adapter, but I don't know if that would change anything)
If anyone knows any more, I would be really grateful.

Buying a new wireless cable will help. The LAN cables are slow and bad, but the WLAN cables are great 👍🏻
How do you mean a new wireless cable. For the router or what? Because I don't have a cable on my end device but am in it via WLAN, because I also need an adapter for the LAN connection. And the WLAN in general, whether it is the cell phone, TV or PlayStation, works perfectly, the problem is only affecting the surface
The Wi-Fi works much better as it is much better than LAN. A new Wi-Fi cable for the router helps, believe me, I know my way around!
Well then I'll try that, hopefully it will bring something
