I've been trying to be in the garden online with my laptop for a long time and look for a soerfstick.
On Ebay there's such a stick from China 3GB. 9.46 euro price. How far can you get that? I comb with Eberswalde with a router of 1&1 not online, because the provider did not meet the needs in this depressed area, so I want to try the Soerfsticker.
Does the price of the stick matter?
How fast is your network there with a mobile phone?
It's the way SurfStick… UMTS / LTE… What the 3GB should there, I do not know!
If mobile internet works well on the phone there, you could also use it as a hotspot. A surfstick also forwards only mobile internet to the computer. You need your own SIM and a contract (or prepaid), and there's a well-functioning mobile Internet. Surfsticks are a dying breed, as many of them use the phone (via USB, even without Wi-Fi), or a mobile router
Thank you very much
My mobile is not online. And the stick is 3G. I asked T-Mobile, they sell sticks from Congstar, and they are supposed to meet the needs in the area. Have not used the old stick From Vodafon, 6 years, the card is spiked. The sticks will probably not sell properly now auser on Ebay.
The price range is 20 euro. Now the question is, what can bring such a stick from China.
Maybe there's 3G or LTE, the only question is which network. In principle, almost all Surfsticks (and phones) come from China, but I would take one of the well-known (Huawei, ZTE). In principle, one could also take a test out of a cell phone, the current one usually has a smaller format, surfsticks normal format. And you need a SIM for a network that works there. If you have acquaintances / relatives who occasionally come there and use a different phone network than you could check if 3G / 4G is available there. The Vodafone stick should probably also work SIMs from other networks. In Germany, most have no SIM lock, in contrast to Austria.
Oh, ok, I try, thank you very much
