Laptop for gambling, which one?

My parents want to buy me a laptop for Christmas, because I previously had a notebook, which now works nucht.

They think this is for the school, but I also like to gamble on it, such as Fortnite, cod, etc.

He should not cost 500 euro, however. There are enough that are cheaper

Which operating system do you need, which processor? So what can I take so that he is not too old to gamble. It has to be a laptop, not a pc

Ma

So if you want to play Fortnite fluently, then 500 euro are not enough, I do not know any laptop suitable for gaming under 800 euro.

Because for Fortnite you need:

at least I5 2.8 GHz processor

at least 8GB RAM best NVIDIA graphics cards, unless you want to play with the lowest graphics

So that everything runs smoothly I would recommend an i7 processor with 16GB of RAM and at least 4GB graphics memory

HP Gaming Pavilion 17-cd0920ng would be recommended

for 829 euro

Own a HP Gaming Pavilion 15-dk0008ng for 1200 euro

and Fortnite runs smoother than my father's PC

Thanks, then I'll take a look around

Get a PC because then you can simply retrofit in 3-5 years for a few hundred euro vlt and a laptop not Pc it is better especially for Zocken because with a laptop you need mostly mouse, keyboard and sometimes a monitor

Already read question?

Ky

Yes, just told him my answer

Te

His parents offer him to buy him a laptop, which according to the knowledge of the parents is intended for school.

Ky

Yes, I've already understood wanted to just tell him that a PC is better and how I think there are better answers for a PC…

In your case it should definitely be a device with a processor from Intel Core i5 or an AMD Ryzen 5. Best of all, since the graphics unit from AMD has more power than Intel's integrated graphics chips. For gambling, you should of course rather put on a dedicated graphics card, but that is only possible in a higher price range. At least if it should be something appealing.

Otherwise, at least 8 GB of RAM and at best a SSD should be installed, as an SSD also provides for a decent speed boost. As far as the operating system is concerned, it's best to stick to Windows 10. Some devices have no operating system, but this should not prevent you from buying, because you can buy a license for Windows 10 for little money, for example, on MMOGA.

Which price range you imagine exactly, would have been good to know. I just looked at several devices up to 400 euro, which is comparatively cheap for a laptop.

Here would be for 400 euro a device from Lenovo: https://www.expert.de/shop/unsere-produkte/computer-zubehor/notebooks/laptops/17041067543-ideapad-s145-notebook.html

It is a 15.6-inch device with a Full HD display. Installed are an AMD Ryzen 3500U, 8 GB RAM and a large 512 GB SSD. Furthermore, Windows 10 Home is already preinstalled.

By the way, you could also wait until the end of November for Black Friday. Since it will be safe again at various dealers laptops at very reasonable prices.

She * I'm a girl and yes I'm playing

br

Does he have a cd subject? I forgot to say that. The laptop must have a CD compartment. If not, what else is there for which costs the same?

tr

That was the best device that I found to 400 euro. He does not have a drive, but you could still grow. Costs about 20 - 30 euro. And by the way: You do not necessarily need an i7 for gambling and no 16 GB RAM. Most games are well playable even with 8 GB of RAM. But a dedicated graphics card from NVIDIA would be as mentioned before still beneficial, only such a device just is not in your price range. It starts from about 700 euro going on.

br

Okay thanks.

Lenovo (15.6-inch) gaming notebook (AMD RyzenTM 3 3200U 4-Thread CPU, 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD, 500GB HDD, Radeon ™ Vega 3, DVD ± RW, HDMI, BT, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi, Windows 10 Prof. 64, MS Office) # 6220 https://www.amazon.de/...07YDFCF88/

How is the?

tr

You can believe me, you will not find anything better. He is garbage or has a bad value for money. The device I have mentioned has a better processor and a better graphics card. Also, I'd rather go for a 512 GB SSD instead of a 128 GB SSD + 500 GB HDD.

br

But I definitely need a drive as my parents only pick one up with a drive. Because I need that. And they certainly will not buy it

tr

Then I'll look for you with a drive out. But what is your price range? Actually only 400 euro? Or go, for example, 450 euro?

br

Let's say 450 euro

br

Because at black Friday there will hopefully be discounted.

tr

On Black Friday you would have to look at all devices again. If you plan on buying the device on Black Friday anyway, then it's not worth looking for a device now ^^

br

But, since I have to give the data to my parents, because they will buy it for Christmas and they have to know it before

tr

With drive I only find devices with a 256 GB SSD. If that's enough for you from the memory, you would still be here at 400 euro: https://www.otto.de/...-940916010

There's no operating system. Do you get here for 17 euro and thus come to a total of about 420 euro: https://www.mmoga.de/Software/Windows/Microsoft-Windows-10-Professional-OEM.html

Or for 450 euro a device with drive + operating system: https://geizhals.de/...76069.html

br

Alternate, is there also good? Had looked at outlet there, but I do not know from known

tr

Yes, Alternate also has good devices.

Ky

Sorry
