Hi Guys,
As you can see in the picture I have to connect these cables. But on one cable there are 3 wires and on the other 3. If I connect one wire to the white wire of the 3 cables, do you think it will work? Is a cable from my laptop
What's this? What do you want to wire More photos and information please.
The end with the single cable is a connector for my laptop. The other end is another power supply. But I've already read on the power supply that it works with my laptop
Based on the picture and the information given, you can't make a statement
A comment was deleted because you didn't like the answer? Nice gesture when you ask for advice… He wasn't wrong…
It is not enough to just connect the white. You have to measure + and - … And then you need at least two wires connected together so that + and - also arrive… With one of them, I only see the white wire… Is there a screen around the white wire? Then that would be the second wire to the white… And why does the other have three wires? Is that with two output voltages? Or which side goes to the laptop? In addition, you have to be able to solder and you need something to isolate (shrink tubing would be best) … Only then will it be neat and reliable…
Whether white fits on white and if black has to be on the screen can't be said from the pictures… You would have to measure that, what the polarity is and how you have to connect it accordingly. Hope the voltages and minimum amperage go together…
Was it really deleted? I already know why I'm not giving any more answers here…
In the picture you can't see exactly what there's now, in the truest sense of the word.
so i can only advise that someone should take a look at this in person.
if you only connect the white wires now, nothing can go wrong because no electricity can flow. However, it can't work either - precisely because no electricity can flow.
if I see that correctly, the cable on the right is a kind of coax. I.e. There's braid around the white vein. That COULD be the negative pole,
I'm not at all sure about the other cable. So you would have to test that with a multiemter.
Even if, to be honest, I'm not a fan of throwing away and new, but before the laptop has to be thrown away because it is broken, I have to seriously recommend buying a suitable new power supply.
