I downloaded Paladins on Steam but when I start it there's only a brief loading screen that disappears and then nothing happens. I had such a problem with LoL too, it didn't start when I clicked on it, but somehow it works again. I have a Terra 1516 if that helps.
I had a similar problem with my old PC where I couldn't start playing as far as I know you can only change something if you delete any files (you don't know which ones you have to google) or new ssd / hdd (or new pc / laptop at least worked for me) so far I haven't found any other way so try the first one
