Can you please recommend acceptable laptops for around 400 - 500 euro. Unfortunately, can no longer spend.
If you want to play with it, forget it.
If you only want to use it for internet and office (school) take a used one:

The used ones are devices from the business warehouse, which are usually much better in terms of workmanship than the cheap consumer devices.

In terms of hardware, this is the best equipment you can find in your budget.
The notebook is ideal for surfing and office, is compact and light and the battery lasts in practice (for me) about 9 hours without worrying.
Even a few simple or older games such as Sims 4, LoL or Portal can be played on it.
If you need more power you should think about a used notebook.
I recently bought a T560 in the 500 euro class from the AFB shop… This thing will run smoothly for a number of years.
I bought my last new notebook at the end of the 90s, since then only used business notebooks.
For internet and office, used business devices are pretty much the best you can buy, durable and, with SSD and 8GB RAM, also very agile.
Sounds good
ne doesn't want to play any games on it should only be enough for the office and just surf the web every now and then so don't ask for much should just not be a lame duck like my current one from Asus that broke
Take a look here: https://www.computeruniverse.net/de/lenovo-v15-ada-82c70065ge-r5-3500u-8gb512gb-ssd-15fhd-w10?utm_channel=psm&agt=288 Windows 10 is included. It's in your price range. The processor clocks normally at 2.1 GHz. If more computing power is required, it automatically clocks up to 3.7 GHz.
Here's a tip from me: I recommend using the apps from the Microsoft Store whenever possible. There are e.g. Netflix, maxdome, Amazon, facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and much more. Only use the web browser if there's no app for it.
Libreoffice can also be used as an office package. This is a free office package consisting of text, tables, presentation, database, drawing and a formula editor: https://de.libreoffice.org/...ffice.org/ All modules are located under one program interface. Libreoffice can also process Microsoft Office documents.
These are always great questions ^^
WHAT do you want the laptop for?
If you want to gamble, it won't work.
I would not recommend the one in the link
I once bought a 500 euro laptop and only had problems with it. Got a blue screen on the first day. If you use software that requires a lot of computing power, the laptop runs in slow motion.
These cheap computers can no longer deal with windows 10, which already needs 8GB RAM. So forget this cheap filth, you'll only regret it.
I've had the best experiences with Lenovo in years
Justify!
I read it, thought it only has 2 threads.
