What do you think about it (school)?

We have to download an app for English so that we can learn vocabulary and the teacher does extra work so that we can learn it well.

Now a girl in my class can't download the app because her storage space is full (there are all the photos and videos of her and her boyfriend on it and other garbage, I know because she showed me everything even though I didn't want it and also around to indicate) and she said she can't delete the things that would break her heart. Above all, she is the one who is extremely bad in English and generally the worst in the class in terms of grades and needs it most. She can do the things on her laptop at home (she has one) or put an SD card in there, at least she could put the things on there, but no, she's not that smart about thinking about it

Do you understand this behavior?

De

I do not understand your question completely. Why don't you just make this suggestion to her? Or that she has the pictures printed out at the dm or elsewhere?

Ho

We tried to make it clear to her but she doesn't want to do it

Ig

I can understand that there are important images. But 100GB of pictures? The app is definitely not even 500mb in size xD

Did you say solutions:

Upload to Google drive
Delete the pictures that are already on Facebook
Download Bluestack on PC
Change SD card
Use a new cell phone

Ho

Yes she doesn't want it or she doesn't know how to do that and become you

Pu

You should make a backup of it. If she ever loses her cell phone, or if it is stolen or broken, everything is gone anyway.

Ha

You get 100GB on a few smartphones without inserting an SD card.

My old Xperia had 32GB, the company phone Galaxy S8 "only" 64GB, my current Galaxy Note 9 had 128GB by default.

Sh

I can partially understand their behavior. She is attached to her boyfriend, and therefore also to the pictures, which she does not want to delete because they are memories of moments together.
However, it sounds to me as if she is holding onto the past and the here and now instead of thinking long-term into the future.
If this app is a helpful tool to improve your English and the teacher goes out of her way to help the students, then she should take the chance.
There are different ways to save photos, as you have already said, on your PC or an SD card, depending on the case also free iCloud or Google storage up to 5 or 15 GB storage; that should be enough to outsource so many photos that you can install the app to become better in English if necessary.

But in the end it's her business, you can tell her that again, but in the end she has to know what she's doing.

I just made sceenis from my gallery and deleted the other pictures so I have (for me, just like that) a photo with the pictures that are important to me I can then simply zoom in and make a sceni if I want an important picture I have enough space but still have all the important photos anyway.

Suggest the possibility to her.

And if she still doesn't want to, you can ask your English teacher if she can write a parenting letter to your class that the parents know about the app, etc.

She is 21 … (we go to a vocational school l
