TomTom hotline, advertising or rip-off experience?

My grandpa wanted to update his TomTom sat nav and connected his mobile phone to the sat nav. Until then everything was fine. But when suddenly a woman called on the cell phone and said she would update it, my grandpa released his screen and could do anything. She then said she would make the laptop ad-free and that would cost 200 euro for life, but since my grandpa couldn't give the number, he pays with GooglePlay cards, which he got on the net. He entered the codes and the money was gone. He was supposed to download an update for the laptop, and it did, but only once every 10 minutes at 1-2%. A man called and asked how far he was (7%) … The man said he will be in touch on Monday and continue everything.

There were only foreigners on the phone and nothing really worked out until now. My grandpa and I fear that these people still have access. Does somebody have experience, what can you do?

You were successfully withdrawn and no, it wasn't a TomTom. Or the same. You pay by bank transfer, if at all.

But never Google, Apple or other maps.

The money is gone. Apprenticeship.
