Sony vaio charge cable does not charge?

I have a problem with my laptop, I have had this laptop (Sony Vaio) for 2 years and it has always been charging, but today it just stopped charging, although it was still possible a week ago, I don't understand anything that happened, me have informed me a lot but nothing applies to my same problem.

Could be a faulty charging cable… Faulty charging socket or faulty socket! Plug the cable into a socket in another room! Then you can rule out one thing in advance! But… Does the "charging lamp" actually light up and only get no power on the battery… Then the is defective!
