Lately I like to cut videos and add effects to the ect… I downloaded a program that I could test for free. The program is called VideoPad. I then edited a few videos with it and even had to buy it, because otherwise I could not extract a "project" that I was sitting on for quite a long time… (so I fell into that case haha but what the hell it was relatively cheap ). Well and now I have been editing videos on my laptop for about 4 hours and the program keeps stopping and does not run smoothly… Sometimes yes and sometimes no… So I have no blatant laptop that cost just under 500 euro and everything I know is that the "intel PENTIUM Gold" processor is built into it and I have 8GB RAM (at least it says on it). So maybe it's my laptop? Isn't it powerful enough? Or is it the program? Or is there possibly another solution how I can run the program smoothly on this laptop (maybe something in the settings of the laptop or any programs that run unnecessarily in the background)?
It's because of the laptop
Too bad…
No problem. Depending on the resolution, video editing requires a lot of resources. There's an Intel Pentium Gold at the bottom of the performance pyramid.
Hm well okay the laptop wasn't meant for that.
