I'm currently looking for a notebook for video editing and have written down a few specs that you need for a video editing notebook.
AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i7 10510U
GTX 1060 Max Q or similar
16 GB RAM
min. 512 GB SSD
Preferably matte screen
Min. 2 USB Type-A and a 3.5 mm jack.
Is there something for a maximum of 1500 euro?
If there's a notebook for video editing which is also good for video editing, but does not have these specs, that is of course also good.
PS: I have already asked similar questions, but have not yet received a really good answer. I've already looked at the HP Omen 15 and the Asus Zenbook 15. The Zenbook15 is only available on an American website (the only version that is well suited for video editing) and the HP Omen 15 has 2 major disadvantages for me: 1. It is made almost entirely of plastic and the screen bends when you use it in the wrong place.
There are no test videos for this. I would love it if I could hear someone who has experience with this notebook. And it's pretty clunky and unwieldy. I would like a little slimmer.
Then your requirement results: GTX 1080 or similar but NO SENSE! If you want a slim notebook, you need something much weaker than a graphics solution, which is still sufficient for video editing. You actually only need reviews of the components, which then produce the result
So I know there's one with a GTX 1060 Max Q
Yes I know that too. But you want to cut videos and not gamble with them. What you want is the maximum achievable raw power. But the max q are constantly throttled, if they are to run under full load, then you can take a step down, it is cheaper and just as powerful. But that's just my humble opinion
Oh sorry, how do I know that you wrote a 1080 above? Phew
Take a look at CES21. Nextgen hardware will come in a few months

That has only single channel ram, that makes no sense for video editing, certainly not with a disdainful 4 core
