I can recommend the Asus Vivobooks. I also have one and I have no complaints. We also had advice and this one came out.

Well, if I were you, I would take a look at Google, Notebookbiller, One.de, because sometimes you can find something like student notebooks, most of which already contain OFFICE (Microsoft Office). So 1000.00 euro are pretty generous from leaving you to buy an office laptop. But it doesn't matter.
As already mentioned, you know what you need for software, but I'm of the opinion that 1000.00 euro is quite a lot for a laptop, which might be the following study for school.
