Laptop cpu and gpu?

I've had my laptop for 2 months and I'm very satisfied with it. I was able to play all the games on maximum settings and still had over 200 fps. One day when I was playing Rainbow Six Siege I touched my laptop and it was extremely hot. I fluctuated between 85-90 degrees and the gpu remained constant at 80. In idle the CPU was between 40-45 degrees and the GPU was constant 40. Then I asked a question and got an answer that my laptop didn't survive a year under these conditions but also looked it up in a forum and got the answer that it is normal for laptops and I don't have to worry. I then bought a cooler laptop and got a few degrees less. Now I wonder which of the two statements is true.

Laptops are always hotter, that's true. You don't have a big case where fans can sit. Instead, you only have a few if not just 1 or 2 fans. BUT if cpu and or gpu get too hot this can have consequences, bad

These temperatures are in the green

A laptop of this type should handle it. That sounds like normal temperatures to me. Of course, such high temperatures will gnaw the life of the laptop, but it won't go up in smoke in a year.

If you take good care of your laptop, i.e. Unscrew the service flap at the bottom every six months and remove dust from it properly, nothing bad should happen to it.

There are various videos about cleaning on YouTube that will help you find out where to clean. You don't need to change thermal paste until after 2 years, so don't let yourself be persuaded.

Nevertheless, keep checking whether the temperatures continue to rise or whether the PC is slowing down when gaming. This is a warning signal that it can no longer dissipate the heat well and that dirt has accumulated.

So from my side everything is OK.

P.S. A notebook ventilation is always a good thing that helps you cool.

The performance of the laptop is not a problem at all. The only thing that scared me was the temperature. It's still very new and hardly any dust could collect.
