Recently someone was at my house who played and cheated csgo, it didn't itch because I was banned anyway (was a new account and so).
Only I thought that my account (very old and very expensive inventory) will now also be banned because it cheated on my IP.
But I have to say that he did not do it on my PC but on his laptop, which I have never logged on to or anything else, so the only link between him and me was really his IP. (didn't play with him or anything)
Can I still be banned?

If he didn't relate to you on his laptop, how can you ban your Acc?
Valve anti cheat is not about a hardware ID ban and not about the IP… So don't worry your account is not mentioned
