Professionally I got an eMail address of the company, also with SMTP etc.
So far, I was logged in to the laptop, but I've answered more and more mails on the phone (internet browser) and the laptop on my assembly trips also not used. Unfortunately, I can't respond to the mails from the phone via the app, as it is unfortunately a requirement that all outgoing eMails carry our company signature. (HTML since image + graphic elements).
Even after eternal Googling and click through contributions from the year 2002, I'm stuck. There must be an app that can send emails from an Android smartphone with HTML signature. Gmail, GMX etc can indeed signatures, but no HTML.
Maybe someone knows a solution? (By the way, we do not use Exchange!)
HTML has no place in emails and poses a big security risk.
You should point this out to your company.
By the way: Sometimes people send me their unnecessary HTML emails, where pictures are in the signatures. In my email client, this is never displayed properly, instead, the image from the signature is then packed into the attachment.
It's just annoying that people are using the Internet, who have no idea about IT. HTML emails are just awful.
Well, what's called HTML, I assume it's HTML. I do not know it that way, it's not my job. Aufjedenfall there ne signature, Colored bars companies logo etc. As you know. For me, the pictures usually come as an attachment, but unfortunately regulation…
Yes, it is an HTML mail. A security disaster.
Was so with us, goes so far as I do not know, but maybe here knows something. Since the company should think about it, that pictures and colorful nonsense in signatures have lost nothing.
