Where can I find a suitable, cheap laptop?

Huhu!

I'm sorry if this question doesn't belong here, but I'm totally lost when it comes to buying technical equipment.

Maybe there's a page where you can compare laptops? I'm looking for a laptop on which games primarily run smoothly and series and films can be played. The laptop shouldn't cost more than 700 euro.

Which games? You have to express yourself more precisely. If it should be new games actually no chance, maybe with older or less complex games

I'm sorry my mistake! Rather older, less complex games, e.g. Minecraft, Sims, Genshin Impact.

A good page for comparisons is, for example, Geizhals.de, on which you can specify which technical requirements the device should meet. But you have to know your way around the area. After you have determined the desired criteria, suitable devices are displayed and the prices are compared.

If you want to gamble with a laptop, you should get a device with a dedicated graphics card in the direction of GeForce GTX 1050 (Ti) or GTX 1650 (Ti). It starts at around 700 euro. This would then get a lot of games to run, including games with slightly higher system requirements.

I only found one device in your price range that could be considered: https://geizhals.de/...04494.html

Is offered at several dealers for around 700 euro. It is a 15.6-inch device from DELL. An Intel Core i5-10300H, a GeForce GTX 1650, 8 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD are installed. You would still have to get Windows, however, which would be possible for little money.

Below you can find a few benchmarks for the GTX 1650 for various games: https://www.notebookcheck.net/...044.0.html

According to the benchmarks, even games like GTA V can still be played with 60 FPS on high settings. You can easily get games like Minecraft or Sims to run with the device.

With 700 euro something is already possible.

So

You can completely bend it at the moment. As for the medium price range (500 euro-900 euro), the market is currently completely empty. All the companies buy the current for their employees in the home office. Even we as dealers receive delivery times of up to 2.5 months from the manufacturers.

in the high price range (900 euro +) there are currently still some. However, the Asian traders strike here and sell them absolutely overpriced.

So all in all, a very bad time for a new notebook.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer!

I looked at a few testimonials about the DELL and theoretically it would be an option for me.

I looked at Geizhals.de through a (presumably) similar filter to yours and found the HP 17-by3658ng, does this device tell you something? If so, is it good or am I looking in a totally wrong direction? (As I said, I'm unfortunately absolutely lost and inexperienced in this area.)

He only installed a GeForce MX330, which has significantly less power than a GTX 1650.

Thank you!
