Is this laptop backpack suitable for traveling?

Due to the fact that my old laptop backpack broke, I'm currently looking for a new one.

I study business mathematics and take my (Asus) laptop with me pretty much everywhere. In addition to a bit of paper, writing utensils, wallet and a few small things, you no longer have to put it in your backpack. That's why I don't need a backpack with thousands of compartments, which mostly also look like a hiking backpack.
Since I'm not particularly tall myself, a large backpack would bother me a lot. It is also important to me that the backpack is water-repellent and, above all, light.

Now I looked around and found the ASUS Ranger BP3703, which I personally like very much both in terms of its shape and structure, as it is nice and narrow and not too big, and also has a few nice little extras. In addition, I have generally had very good experiences with Asus.

Is this laptop backpack suitable for traveling

However, I have concerns whether it is also suitable for traveling.
In particular, I'm concerned with the LED strip and other built-in electronics, since I'm unsure whether this is in the security check z. B. Could cause problems at the airport. I can put the laptop separately, I have to turn the backpack inside out every time, but I wouldn't find it so great.

What do you think about that?

so

I find the backpack too expensive, but it looks good!

An

If it has batteries because of the electronics, you have to take it on board.

otherwise google if you can fly with it

Fr

It is expensive, yes. But I would rather spend a lot of money than buy a new one every 2 years.

Fr

I will take it as hand luggage anyway

so

If you have the money, please.

Please note that you are also buying the brand and not necessarily quality.

Fr

That's right. However, I have some other Asus products and have been satisfied with them so far without exception

Is

I'm not an expert, but since hand luggage is also scanned, I think it should fit. Or what do you mean?

so

Your decision.

Is

It's just that it's a good brand. But I didn't know that the backpacks were made. In fact, some backpacks break quickly, so your way of thinking is probably not wrong.

Fr

They are scanned, yes. But since electronic devices such as The laptop must be put extra, the question arises how is it with the electronics built into the backpack. You can't just expand it.

Is

Maybe you ask the manufacturer directly? I would do that. Or inquire at an airline, but then you would only find out what the security team says, can look different with other airlines.

Fr

Does it really depend on the airlines? Because of security control, it doesn't matter whether I'm flying with airline A or B. The rules are the same.

Then I write an email to the manufacturer.

Is

For some things you need the airline's permission, yes.
