The zz stands for "to sleep" in general. On the laptop keyboard, this key causes the computer to go into energy-saving mode.
How to activate the button:
Hold down the Fn key while pressing the zz key.
AND how do I get the WHOLE shifted backwards again?
When a key is pressed while in sleep mode, the computer is reactivated. But this only works with the built-in keyboard because the PC switches off the USB interfaces in E-saving mode.
